I now know without a shadow of a doubt, for me to feel alive, I must begin the day with exercise, a run to be exact, or during the summer, a bike ride. I need a ton of fresh air – absolutely do I need sunshine and to hear the birds! I bike and run because these two sports play to my strengths: focus, determination, endurance.
Uncovering who I am at my Essence, rediscovering my strengths, learning to listen to my wiser self , and being able to articulate my dreams and desires, gave me tools to build my resilience tool chest. They also gave me the know-how and can-do attitude to begin to thrive, to flourish, and live a vibrant life.
